Here is a little message of hope towards a positive resolve of the actual happening in France. The news in UK are barely talking about the situation, and our own self made yellow jackets here seem to be an idiot far right minority! I’m hoping for the best, and wish for the people to find cohesion in their demands…. and that France will not make itself famous for the way the government handles the protests ….(which seem to get heavier and heavier every year!)

All that matters

Hello folks,

That time of the year has arrived when I compulsively need to write and draw and express my thoughts in many manners. So here is the first piece from my new series, I am taking a different stance in writing from my previous works, the main idea behind this new project is to focus on principles that connects us together and look at human interactions within particular systems. No more for now, here’s the first piece:

“All that Matters”

“I wanna feel connected… outside my box.
See the light, be greeted… by other folks.
The warm hubbub of the pub… inebriating
a joyous mob off their gob… gobbledygooking.
À simple rumble,… a timeless happiness mess,
some mumble jumble… or show shyness by silence.
All share effervescence… in a sens by presence.
senses dance, verses fence… stories may commence.
For laughter we gather… it feels good together,
for later remember… this is all that matters”

Poet suspended

It has been a while since we last posted, but there has been some developments lately. First, the poet has finally been granted a two months suspended sentence, which resulted in some serious photo shoot in front of the magistrate court in Sheffield:

We have been very touched by all the support the good residents of Sheffield have brought!This was a most interesting 3 days of observation on how the process of study of cases of Law works. My outfits were carefully selected each day, considering I could make a different impression each day, it would be monotonous to come with the same one each time. So I thought to show them that I learn quick by gradually evolve my dress from wild Appalachia to a more stable character.

And then I found a snickers, and I couldn’t resist…… what a gaffer!

So after all this fun and after a couple of impromptu surprises….. as you may expect when a magician poet is at court, on the last day, I refused to give evidence, for reasons that I will detail in a forthcoming letter…. but let’s not say much about it now……shhhh …the charging officers and lawyers of the council are watching…… and they don t like secrecy when it comes to anyone else (than them)……. they watched my facebook profile and used the picture I posted for them to bring at court the next day:

 

The judge wasn t impressed but the message wasn t for him. but this is another story, to be dealt at the magistrate’s in August… Meanwhile, the poet is still free, no more on bail but with 2 months suspended sentence for reading a piece of poetry in a dubious working site where work had effectively stopped.

This is only the beginning. They have upset the poet……. and anger is his main drive! What will he say next!!!!???

And a massive thank you to the Sheffield Folks who have inspired me all throughout this artistic research this year………and i am not stopping now!

 

A Poet at War

It just so happened my mum made me realise the battle we are living in Sheffield with our street trees is also happening in many places in France, where residents either realised too late or are still fighting the administrative evil!

So I ended up gathering info about “Les platanes de Gien” (The planes of Gien) and made a song addressed to their mayor……

The mayor didn t really like it, and I over heard he was planning to attack me for defamation, so I thought I’d make him another one because music relaxes people and maybe he just needed a hug.

This actually earned me an article in the local and regional paper! I couldn’t contain my enthusiasm! First because I managed to get in my home’s regional news, second because it s also the third case on me (and in a new place because i m already due at sheffield’s magistrate for 2 assaults apparently and an obstruction of police officer, and at sheffield’s court for 2 breaches of injunction!). See, life as a poet is not easy….but I still found time to make a third one (under the front page!):

This is the soft version of it….. because i was too nervous on my first try, almost rude…, so all this had the first two videos reaching 500 in a few days……and I was getting bored so I went to see my own mayor here in Sheffield, The Lord Mayor Magid Magid (youngest mayor at 28 and first refugee to become mayor) , he was kind enough to record a message with me

So I thought, really, I can’t risk much more than a few tomatoes…. so there might be something cooking in all that, we might reveal something in the next post…… so while we re working on all this, I made a song nice enough to make my mum happy. enjoy

Bandcamp platform launch

Bonjour a tous, on this Sunday 13th of may 2018, we have the pleasure to announce that Our Bandcamp platform is now available. This is where we will give the possibility to our exclusive supporters to listen to professionally recorded productions.

There are 10 tracks total in 2 albums for now and we will be developing on a regular basis now. Much love to Mr Lach (Click here to discover) who inspired this start as the bloke is at least as mad as we are…. we may have to ask him for a poetry battle to settle on who is crazier.

#4 Riding the Unicorn by the Horn!

So today has been a pretty crazy day for the Unicorn, She decided to try painting, and Ayse (https://www.instagram.com/aysebalse/) was very kind to let her come to her studio! It was great fun to imagine potential instant manifestations of the pictures in her mind suddenly appearing on a canva with only a few simple magic gestures as for all ritual…. not even a complicated spell of words to cast!

While the other weird French guy was busy painting something about “Frexit” coming soon, she met a funny dog and then really enjoyed discussing with Ayse on how Art is Magical! She said “You don’t have to know what you’re doing, you just do it because you feel it.” …..”So take some paint, and paint”……. And just like that…. magic happened! And 5 hours were gone….! in a puff of time! just like that! …..time……. has it a frame…?

So everyone was getting a bit carried away with all that new painting projects! The Unicorn was thinking that painting is utter cool and she wouldn’t mind never seeing glitter in her whole eternal life if she had paint instead….! And she thought, could she paint on herself? Just as she was reflecting on this, Ayse decided the session was over as the sanity of everyone present was being endangered by uncontrolled forces.

And so everyone went off on a Unicorn Ride!

Alea Jacta Est #20

Much has been happening lately, and our many selves needed a little rest. Here below is a piece I wrote on january 2018, just after some blue liaison officers started to get interested in me. It seemed talking to a poet about higher principles gives them a vertigo…! This short piece is pretty much still accurate today…..as short tempered officers appear to dread any reasonable exchange with me…. and scare me with searches and lockup if my questions make him finish his shift too late…. You see my dear reader, there is such a concept as reasonable force, so why not reasonable defence or reasonable questions or remarks…… especially when an officer makes typo on the dates… And all this sudden wonderful entertainment because I am by nature a protector of the Earth, as it makes sense to me to respect the environment I live in, and it is definitely reasonable to stand and act for it. And most importantly, to live by it, as it is in our actions that we can see the true nature of our intentions. I am my nature, nothing will ever justify anyone coming to take it. Furthermore, It is just as much reasonable to kindly call an “idiot” whoever acts as such.

Earthling Duty Day

Today has this kind of special vibe, you know, when it feels like staying at home and catching up with yourself and your own self work! Writing is an important process, well it is for me, spelling words is in some ways connecting me to the magic side of Life. And it is a ritual, as it brings my visualisations out the world of my thoughts and right into a “ready-to-be-manifested” state, a pre-organised structure of a potential future.

And today, it feels like this, I’m in the mood to organise the future, not just mine, but the future of everything I am part of, and that I KNOW is right! And by this I mean to emphasise on the fact that beliefs and opinions are based on a limited experience  of reality through an already limited spectrum of perception of it….. beliefs and opinions are therefore here to state: “I have not researched on this, but someone else has and I trust his views”.

So, what do I KNOW of which I am being part of? And what do I KNOW would help the best course for our common future? What I do not know I can seek to know, the closest I get to the truth, the more my decisions are based on it…..seems evident! How fantastic is it that today we have every information we may want at pocket reach?? With this chance in hand, we have the duty to combat ignorance and recklessness.

So today, I will sign the petitions below and invite you, whenever you have the time and mood, to create your own list of magic scrolls to help transforming the world into the one we truly want to live in.
